Appointment Of Chairman To The Gibraltar Police Authority

It is notified for general information that pursuant to section 4(1)(a) of the Police Act 2006, the Governor, acting on the advice of the Specified Appointments Commission, has appointed Mr Peter C Montegriffo KC as Chairman of the Gibraltar Police Authority in place of Dr Joseph Britto.
The appointment is with effect from 1st August 2024 and is for three years, as prescribed by section 4(2) of the said Act.
