Approval of Vehicle Type for use as Private Hiring Vehicle Under Regulation 37(3A)(A)

In exercise of the powers conferred upon the Minister by regulation 37(3A)(a) of the Transport Regulations 2000, the Minister hereby approves the following vehicle type as suitable for use as a private hiring vehicle within the meaning of regulation 37(3A):

LEVC TX (London Electric Vehicle Company TX)

A vehicle of the above type that is finished in black may accordingly be used as a private hiring vehicle, provided that it bears such livery, markings, or other distinguishing features as the Transport Commission may direct, so as to be readily distinguishable from a licensed taxi, in accordance with regulation 37(3A)(b) of the Transport Regulations 2000.
