Notice of Appointment of Licensing Authority

In exercise of the powers conferred upon him by section 5 of the Petroleum Act, the Minister has appointed the Chief Fire Officer to be the licensing authority for the purposes of the Act and any rules made under it except for the issue of a licence for the storage of petroleum in a hulk or lighter under rule 9 of the Petroleum Rules where the licensing authority shall be the Captain of the Port.
Any previous notices are hereby revoked.
