Rate of Interest (No. 2) Notice 1999

In exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 9 of the Savings Bank Act, and of all other enabling powers, the Governor has determined the following:
The rate of interest payable on deposits in Ordinary Accounts in the Savings Bank shall, from 1st April 1999, be fixed at one per cent below Gibraltar banks’ base rate. This Notice revokes the Rate of Interest Order 1988 (Legal Notice 148 of 1988.)
