SEND Assessment Panel Notice

In exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 47A of the Education and Training Act, the Minister with responsibility for Education has-

1. reappointed Dr Musab Elmantasir (Consultant Paediatrician, GHA) as an alternate member of the SEND Assessment Panel;
2. removed the following persons from the SEND Assessment Panel-
   1. Michael George (Deputy Head Teacher, St. Martin’s School);
   2. Dr Florencia Sanchez (Consultant Paediatrician, GHA); and
3. appointed the following persons as alternate members of the SEND Assessment Panel-
   1. Lizanne Pardo Gomez (Education Advisor, Department of Education);
   2. Louise Ward (Deputy Head Teacher, St. Martin’s School); and
   3. Dr Gabriele Facio (Consultant Paediatrician, GHA).

The reappointment and appointments to the SEND Assessment Panel are for the period commencing 23rd October 2026 and ending 23rd October 2027.
